Because of this, people sometimes assume I belong to a particular religion. Some think I’m Muslim because I reference Sufi teachings; others think I’m Christian because I speak about mystics. image The truth is simpler: I am not, nor have I ever been, religious. image What resonates with me is not doctrine but depth — not institutions, but insight.
