SeedSigner ("the man")

Just had an extremely energizing call with our core SeedSigner contributors (nostr:npub1rfd0hxdzcze6pzj29thuz34vur57wm9quje7w3edxjgusq6m47csnl7wrt, nostr:npub1tv8gmfhalwnxxquxjzeh6gtdsdz6vg7vx0s3rt7s7uuw6aujh32qn77wn2, BitcoinPrecept & nostr:npub177zfcmyscnl7805qtx7cn8v9607n3s9m096fl8nev5uzqdg6mruqshdp8e) -- things are moving so quickly with the multi-language initiative. So exciting, feeling super blessed.

It is indeed important to call out bullshit. People with financial interests in building, selling, and/or profiting from license-restrictive, “source available” products should not be involved in grant-making decisions involving free and open source projects that could be seen as “in competition” with said for-profit products. I am not complaining and am not begging for change, just calling out the bullshit. I regularly get DMs from random bitcoiners asking about nostr:npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl FUD & the dynamics around cold storage tool development. Bitcoin industry != Bitcoin community This is a nuanced, but important distinction b/c incentives matter -- you are much more likely to hear about the value of the nostr:npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl project via the latter, whereas the former is more concerned with realizing some kind of financial benefit from selling (or referring you to) a product. Bitcoin product != Bitcoin project
