The best view of big cities is from outside.

Have you noticed that even the traffic lights are nanny state in the West? In Asia and Eastern Europe when the hand turns red, people get tf off the street or fear getting run over, because the walk/drive signals change at the same time. Big Western cities have implemented offsets between pedestrian and car signal timing, likely to protect people, but all it does it create unnecessary inefficient time delays and just makes pedestrians adjust behavior and walk on the red hand anyway.

Do NOT consent to biometrics at airports, from passport control to security body scans. Opting out is so simple, even though they make it seem like it’s not an option. I may not be fun to travel with, but I’ve done this everywhere with no pushback. Only once there was no agent, in that case, block the camera with your hand or cover your face, you’ll see a regular agent. It achieves 3 things, 1. bottlenecks them. 2. if you’ve never consented you have more legal options later. 3. Builds some sort of very hard to explain super power. The first time you may get nervous, but this goes away.
