I often struggle with the balance between work (anything to generate more money) family and recreation/relaxation. If I knew my time was going to be drastically shorter than I expect I would probably through out most considerations for myself and do everything I can to make my families life better after I’m gone. Alternatively if I knew my time was up in 40-60 years I don’t think much would change for me personally except for when that time got really close. Then it’ll be skydiving time 😆 View quoted note →

“When it rains, it pours” That has been true in my life many times, good and bad. Right now for the good. Full time job is very busy. New part time job is picking up, two side jobs starting next weekend and a month ago I made the commitment to teach myself how to code with the intent of a total career shift in 12-18 months.
