Your phone tracks you. It broadcasts IMEI (phone identifier) and IMSI (SIM card identifier). Telco-company then tracks your EVERY move!
Here is what to do to mitigate it:
- Buy Pixel Phone
- Install GrapheneOS on it
- Turn on Flight Mode and NEVER turn it off
- Buy Mudi router and install Blue Merle addon to it
- Change IMEI of the Mudi and put anonymous SIM into it (with data tarif)
- Use Mudi as hotspot for your Pixel Phone with GrapheneOS
- Regularly replace SIM and hange IMEI of the Mudi

Friendly reminder: this is AliExpress

Trezor now got an upgrade. You can upgrade your Shamir.
- Get Trezor T or Safe 3/5
- Create new wallet (you have to create new seed, it won't work with old backups for technical reasons)
- You can create any Shamir setup (3/5)
- You can later generate **additional** backup (for example 1/1, aka Single Seed) if you need to.

I look forward to a day when Saylor will be irrelevant. Elon made it. Please Saylor do the same.
We don't need celebrities and prophets. We need thinkers, creators and builders.
Some time ago, I send some Bitcoin articles to a taxi driver who I was chatting with during a ride.
I got banned by WhatsApp few minutes after that.
That's about the e2e encryption of WhatsApp.
(There is a chance I got banned because of texting to a new user in a different country. But I really doubt it.)
GrapheneOS has Duress PIN now. Trezor has the Wipe code.
How do I remember them? How do I make sure I know them when I need them?
I have a routine to do a Backup Check drill every month.
I have a reminder with a checklist similar to this:
- [ ] Is;sync between my devices working?
- [ ] I manually check/copy long term backups.
- [ ] Is my online stash for emergency recovery working? Do I know the login & pass? I upload newest version of encrypted password managed to the online stash.
- [ ] Do I know the Duress PIN / Wipe code?
It's line an evac/fire emergency drill. You do it regularly so you don't forget how to do it.
Once I finish my Citadel my next project is migration to / building local-first apps for everything I need.
The end-goal is to never use email/mobile number for any service ever again. Maybe it's to ambitious, but If I will need my email/phone only for flight tickets and booking I will consider it success.
I desperately want to live a life where:
- I don't need an email
- I don't need a phone number
- I don't need a bank account
No-email login shall be standard for ANY service.
No-phone registration shall be standard for ANY service.
Bitcoin payment shall be standard for ANY service.
Do you want to have an identity? Use pub key.
Do you want to battle spam/sybil attack? Require some proof of work or ask money for the registration.
Do you want to get paid for you services? Use Bitcoin.
Both Samurai and Wasabi had a flaw in their design. They were centralized around central coordinator.

Thanks for your hard work, you delivered a lot of privacy. But it's time to adapt and move on.
We need to be decentralized. We all need to be The Coordinator.
Dropping like flies. I only hope these people will keep fighting and start working on other projects with proper opsec and will design those project in a way that this vector of attack won't succeed.

If there is a company to be sued, server to be shut, person to be jailed, then it's not resilient to state violence.
All you can do is bend the knee (or play dead and hope).

The are few lessons from Samourai shutdown and arrest:
1. If there is someone to be arrested, charged, trialed and executed. They will. It is absurdly hard to do the OpSec right and stay anonymous and do something big in the same time.
2. If there is an website to be shut down it will be. US basically owns all the domains and there is nothing to do about it. If they decide to sieze domain they will.
3. If there is an server with potentially unencrypted data, we MUST assume government will have it at some point. Hiding a server with big traffic is close to impossible.
4. Inviting Russian oligarchy (with doxxed account) on Twitter to the Samourai isn't wise. Let sleeping dogs lie. Shut the fuck up when governments listen.
5. If you live in the country that extradicts people to the US, you will be extradicted.

If you use OsmAnd on GrapheneOS and the rendering is low for you.
Turn ON the "Exploit protection compatibility mode".

Seems that Apple disabled PWA for EU users.
As I said many times. Apple is absolutely irrelevant company and it's products are absolutely unusurable for any free minded sovereign individuals. It's a golden cage, where your lord decides what apps you can use.

Imagine the world where states have killed the Bitcoin Mining industry with bans and regulations.
As those big centralized easy targets for goverments are gone, the decentrilzed network of home-miners are securing the network.
It's probably be never like this, but the antifragility is there. The more you ban Bitcoin the more resilient it will became.
Ok, Nitter and Squeaker are gone for good. So I no longer able to access Twitter.

On Android you probably know that you can use NewPipe as an YouTube client.
But what about my computer? I have a solution: freetubeapp.io
It's just NewPipe for desktop. It has it all.
Breaking the law is normal. Don't feel bad about it. Be proud when you have not bend the knee. Have high moral standards and follow them.
Law is all countries on this planet has nothing to do with moral standards.
Good people breaks bad laws. It's normal, it's good.
