Today, it is 18th day I am running my house disconnected from the grid. Photovoltaic panels are my only source of electricity. If feels amazing. Of course I won't be able to do this during winter. But it's still a great feeling, the taste of independence. The optionality level of my life increased drastically.

I decided I automate nearly everything in my house. Smart House solutions are pretty done today with many competitors are established. I don't understand why there are still people wasting their time to implement anything with Bitcoin for iOS. Apple will kill it sooner or later. Bitcoin/Lightning is direct ApplePay competitor. Because Apple cannot be better then Bitcoin, they will make everything possible to be the only. And they will, because they control the environment. Wake up. Stop washing your time on this.

The product of most banks is simply unusable. - UI/UX is terrible - Executing anything is 20+ steps - Tricks and cheats to extract fees everywhere - EVERYTHING IS SO FUCKING COMPLICATED - Not working/big obsticles on Ungoogled phones - Payment are still sometimes slow and takes days WTF. Lightning just works.

I am looking for a Nostr plebs or Signal group around self-sufficiency, water, heating, electricity, gardening, hydroponics, passive house, farming, ... This is such a rabbit hole.

My dream is to build self-sufficient house. No connection to the grid. Probably not feasible in my part of the world. - Own source of water is ok, well + collection of rainwater works. - Own water cleaning facility is also probably feasible. - Electricity is the problem. In the winder I need the grid or to run ugly, smelly and noisy diesl generator. After Bitcoin this is whole new rabbit hole🐇

I was using Linux all my life. Whole my life Mac users laughed to me that I have to "recompile" kernel to make my wifi work. I got a Mac for work. Guess what? My external docker doesn't work with it, my KVM box doesn't work with it. My external mic has issues. When I swap mic, the system just uses something else and I have to manually change it all the time. Guess what? All of that works on my Linux without any configuration. And guess what? It works like that even on my gaming machine with fucking Windows.

In order to replace Twitter, Nostr needs to be used by journalist and activists. Shill it like crazy to them. Those people need to learn, to post shit from riots, wars, etc... on Nostr. They need to learn, that Nostr is the way how to spread the message. Message that is unstoppable by both governments or crazy (and greedy) Musks and Zucks.

Google is pure EVIL: To enable 2FA on Google you HAVE TO give them the phone number. If your client/employer uses Google Suit may seems you are fucked. But there is a solution. What to do if you need to use Google with 2FA? 1. Enable 2FA by giving it number from sms4sats.com (don't logout until you finish those steps, if Google asks for another SMS code you won't be able to get it, as numbers are one use only) 2. Once you have it, magically Google allows you to add another 2FA, so you add standard OTP. It's interesting isn't it? 3. You delete phone 2FA option. 3. Today my dougher refused to eat anything "normal". She demands meat (which means boiled or steak) and broth. She also loves butter. Just plain butter, and also, black olives. She barely speaks, but this is very clearly comunicated. She refuses all vegetables and it's impossible to get her to eat bread. I am so proud. 😊 (Well, she loves ice cream tho... 😁)
