Duck's just this guy, you know?
I want a service where I can upload a meme and it will repair any half-hearted attempt at censoring any of the naughty words.
Me: Why the hell is my internet connection so spotty today? Also Me (last night): Now that I have this new server ready to go, now is the perfect time to download all the Bitcoin transactions.
I need a recommendation for something that I can host for my site (preferably if I can github domains or similar) that would represent me on nostr. Previously I was hosting code from npub.pro, but that is now broken and I need a replacement. I'm not opposed to hosting something more than a few static files, but I'd like to avoid it for now.
By definition, there has been one goat that has been, on the whole, objectively better than any other goat ever.
It's days like this, (having to go back after a 3-day weekend) that I envy the retired.
It hurts me a little to have to code with the British spelling of a variable.
There's always that moment of panic when you've just typed your password into what you thought was the sudo prompt in a terminal in a vnc session in your browser, but when you hit enter nothing happened.
Saying that in your new racing game you can race across time might sound impressive, but that's just what you're supposed to do. That just happens.
Remember, no matter how quiet the room might feel, you're never really alone. (hopefully my meaning is correctly inferred)
For someone that likes explaining how geohashes work, bitchat is a greal place.
So, it seems like if I upload a photo to @nostr.build It won't post from there unless I give it a message. It gives me an id, but I can never find that event.
Is there any intention to do geohash + topic rooms? For instance, say a bunch of people want to have a chat going in the hash covering just your local school district and the topic of "those idiots at the local school board"
So, what's the current state of Linux phones. Who needs google, I'll compile my own customized OS.
I've reached the point where I finally had to say goodbye to the emacs configuration that I've been evolving for the past 15 years or so in favor of a more standardized approach because the framework I was using (prelude) required an additional step that didn't gel well with my dotfiles initialization. I have just about most things working well but there are still so many little annoyances left. It's going to be a rough transition but I've burned the proverbial boat by renaming the modules.
Is anyone else having the issue in #nostrudel where, after clicking on a reply, you can't properly interact with the parents. Also, alignment issues with the first line. Zen Browser, NixOS image
ephemeral chat implementations need to support that current status field that #Amethyst has. Those changes should probably even be logged in the channels I'm in
Does anybody know if I delete my @Keychat identity to switch over to the new signer support, with that mess with my ecash wallet? Do I need to move those nuts first?
For a species that had communal grooming at the core of our social dynamic, we sure are reluctant to pick a friend's nose these days. I blame indoctrination when we're young. Don't tell me what I can't do.
