It's so beautiful being able to pay my #CloakedWireless phone bill with #Monero. All I had to do was click Add Wallet Funds, tell them the amount I wanted, and tap Monero, and they showed me a QR code generated by #BTCPay server and I was just able to click pay in wallet. About the only rough edge I see is that for whatever reason the QR code and payment information don't go away even after a confirmation has come in. So you don't get the QR code and payment details replaced with like a checkmark or something to let you know that it's gone through.

Oh nice. The #PeerTube mobile app now supports background playback. That was a huge blocker for me personally, as I background most of my videos and just listen to the audio only. Now it just needs to remember my speed preference so that I don't constantly have to switch it from 1.0 to 1.5 or 1.75. If they add the ability to remember my preferred sort order, that would make it even better than what YouTube can currently do. Because YouTube won't let me sort by most recent, for example.
#XMRBazaar now has 4x more listings than #MoneroMarket.io ever did. 8,000 vs 2,000. Another big difference is that a lot of those listings are priced directly in #Monero and therefore are making Monero more stable.
Good luck enforcing financial sanctions on #AnnasArchive when they accept #Monero.

Just saw a #Meshtastic app called #Indra (https://next.open-store.io/app/indra.projectmoon/) for #UbuntuTouch and then there's #Meshy (
for #PostMarketOS which is a #MeshCore app. Now all we need is a MeshCore app for Ubuntu Touch and a Meshtastic app for PostMarketOS.

Well, i gave mom her new #MeshCore node yesterday as an early Mother's Day gift. It's good to see another node on the mesh.
Currently, we both have our nodes in off-grid repeat mode until we can either put up some infrastructure ourselves somewhere, or we see somebody put up some infrastructure.
A whole blog post about #MeshCore-open
MeshCore Open: Free Companion App for Android, iOS, Desktop | NodakMesh
I have started a #MeshCore group on #SimpleX for those of us like myself who refuse to use fucking discord. Some of us actually care about keeping our privacy intact and not being surveilled all the damn time.

Looks like Andy Kirby and the #MeshCore team have had a fallout. As I suspected all along though, they hold up Liam Cottle's as the "official" app despite it being closed source shitware. Closed source software does not have a place in an open source world.

Migrating to the new meshcore.io site
Hey, does anybody know if the proprietary app also uses these settings for the off-grid repeat? I've modified the power up to 22 and the coding rate to 4/8 from 4/5 to improve range because of having more error correction. But other than that, everything else is the default. I'm certainly not going to install the proprietary app to find out. #Meshcore

Right, I am getting my mom a MeshPocket and after listing pros/cons she wants to go #MeshCore and honestly so do I. So I am going over to MeshCore.
We will just use Off-grid Repeat until we eventually get infrastructure here.
Trying #Meshcore again with Meshcore-Open Alpha8 and firmware 1.15.
Before I was having a problem where after several days my node would just not show up in the list unless I completely did a factory reset on the node and then I could see it again. So I'm going to see if that happens again now with the latest updates.
The #MoneroRun is great, but what would be even better is if you are unable to participate because you never have #Monero on exchanges to begin with. Not your keys, not your coins.
Happy birthday, #Monero! Isn't today also #MoneroRun?
My birthday gift. It even has the Works with #HomeAssistant stamp

Moving my domain from Porkbun to IncogNET.io because porkbun changed their payment provider and only accept stables through WalletConnect. incogNET accepts #Monero directly via #BTCPay server.
In the past, Porkbun accepted Bitcoin, and I was just able to do a swap from Monero to Bitcoin to pay my domain, but no more. I needed to move anyway so that I could support a provider that accepted Monero, and that just gave me the kick in the pants I needed to do so.
If there is a better place for this, please let me know. But I am formally trying to open the discussion about adding #Reticulum support to #Monero.

Oh neat, I exported the PGP key used for the #XMRBazaar messenger and imported it into gpg and used it to leave a review about #Monfluo wallet on #Monerica.

Pure Monero wallet suitable for both newcomers and experienced users.
While this is cool, I feel still that final test was a failure because he had to borrow the infrastructure of the internet to accomplish it, and that infrastructure is centralized and can be taken down by an adversary.
