#Monero using #libertarian who loves computer networking, distributed systems, privacy tech, and testing beta software. I may not be a pro, but I can file a mean bug report. Donate Monero (XMR): https://kuno.anne.media/fundraiser/zzn3/ Annual Expenses: 59 XMR 42WimCbGoy5SVZfkr5YdwtAg9jvpxFfNXfBjM2CJAUZC9JNAKZ34hF6a35HJNXWyw1ctxhSKp4MjfgR3uT8Eneq4GCwtqTs https://smp15.simplex.im/a#P99yLk0Wm9o1qks_M4uuf5cTqz8mua9QhyaByz2gIR8
This is so strange. I am ending up with transactions in my wallet for no apparent reason whatsoever. They are not dust transactions, and they are not from me managing Monero between accounts of any kind. I have a specified donation wallet, and they're not coming there, so I have no idea where they are coming from. Maybe I put that address on #XMRBazaar as the forum donation address or something. And I don't remember it. Either way, if you're the one sending them, thank you. #Monero
Anyone know what ungovernable misfits hasn't put out a #Monero monthly for January? I need it in my life.
Why exactly am I not surprised that Michael Saylor won the MoonBoy of 2025 award? @npub16yesreyely5fkxyvas4xv223w7daf3zmqcrz5dw6yckk3azvrk3qaa90ll
Nixon parody "I have directed the #Monero community to take the action necessary to defend Monero against the speculators. I have directed the Monero community to suspend temporarily the convertibility of Monero into Fiat or other such shit assets. Except in amounts and conditions determine to be in the interest of Monero stability and in the best interest of the Monero community."
#Verizon was down today, but #Meshtastic continues working despite not being charged a monthly fee. Square that circle
I would love to round-trip all these gains and leave all those speculator motherfuckers underwater and watch them drown and laugh at their plight. #Monero
I am really enjoying the "choose" action of #HomeAssistant automations. As an example my heater has 4 triggers that i have called "lower temperature", "upper temperature", "Max Manual Temperature", and an unnamed one for a manual toggle of the power switch either physically or by the app. If the thermometer hits lower temperature, it turns the heater on, and when the thermometer hits upper temperature, it turns the heater off. If I have activated the switch manually and the temperature is above upper temperature, it will still cut off at max manual temperature. That way I don't wake up to a 90 degree room and a bunch of wasted power if I fall asleep with the heater running. Finally, the last action the heater automation takes under all conditions is to make sure the air conditioner is turned off by toggling the air conditioner switch off. That way you cannot run the air conditioner while the heater is running because there's really no point in doing so. The air conditioner automation will have the same thing, so its last action will be to turn off the heater in case it's on for some reason. I also have my dashboard set up so that if I turn on the heater, the air conditioner power switch disappears off the dashboard until the heater is turned off again. If the air conditioner is turned on, the heater power switch disappears from the dashboard until the air conditioner is turned off. When both of them are off, both switches show up on the dashboard, and when either of them is turned on, that device's current power usage and total power usage are shown on the dashboard until it is turned off.
Just set up my Third Reality temp sensor with #HomeAssistant. I also set the battery badge to appear on my bedroom dashboard if it gets below 99% just for testing, but I will probably move it down to like 20%. I LOVE the "Works With HomeAssistant" program. It makes purchasing devices stupid simple.
Well, while i have never gotten anyone on the mesh psrt of #Bitchat since it can run in background i will leave it running which will increase the chsnces
Person 1: i have a joke for you Person 2: oh, do tell Person 1: the government is financially responsible. *howling laughter*
I didn't realize it before, but #Monero is at an all-time high. The all-time high before was like $280 in 2018 on the six-month moving average. And now it's over 340. So we've been at all-time high for months.
Just ordered a THIRDREALITY Zigbee temp sensor to add to my #HomeAssistant. Now i can replace timers with temp measurements. I think I might try to combine my heater and air conditioner automation into one based on what the sensor says. Like if temp <65 heater until 67 andif temp >80 AC until 78
