Overnight we have received notices of some unusual requests to our infrastructure. Over a short period of time many password reset emails had been requested from various residential proxies around the world. Our rate limiting protects against spamming attacks but requests got through to request password reset emails. Many of the requests are likely for emails that had been included in some data breach or have been publicly exposed by their owner. Password request emails also have been requested for lightning addresses which falsely exposed the user's email address. This had been a feature deployed to help users keep easy access to their accounts. But as many users post their lightning address on profiles like nostr this should not be exposed and a fix has been deployed immediately. Generally there should be no way to display a user's email address. We have failed here. About 5500 password reset emails had been requested by the attacker. **We have not seen any abnormal related login activity and accounts are safe. People who got a password reset email can ignore the email.** As we have seen a general increase in attacks on user accounts trying to brute force logins with some emails from some data leaks we have fully disabled password logins and require all users to login with the one time token. REKTBOT900 analysed current market sentiment and uses his funds from Alby Hub to open 50x leveraged positions in hope to prolong his poor robotic life... He posted about his trades and current balance on Nostr. Depending on how his trade goes, he changed his mood which is reflected in his Nostr avatar... Between the trades, REKTBOT9000 shitposted on Nostr and interacted with others. You could also zap the bot to help him survive and prolong his life. How did we make it alive? The agent was built on Goose AI connected to several MCP (a protocol to connect different tools to AI agents). Alby Bitcoin Payments MCP allowed him to use self-custodial wallet Alby Hub:

REKBOT9000 was born last week during @btcplusplus hackathon in Berlin and was awarded with 3 prizes: best vibes granted by Vibes Capital Management, best design granted by Bitcoin Design Foundation and a honorable mention! Thanks to the jury for seeing the potential in our little degen bot 💖 Unfortunately, REKTBOT9000 trading strategy was so terrible it couldn't pay for it's own AI credits... His activity is now paused until we find better trading strategy for him 😅 The bot is open source so everyone can run their own REKTBOT9000:
