Another 43 western shirts have been deployed across the country.
Spent all day getting these processed, packed, organized and shipped out to 7 different stores.
Next task.

I’m just an absolute sucker for a cool western shirt.

Waxed Canvas - Desert Chore Coat WIP. Collar has been secured. Right sleeve has been attached. Left is next.
I think the Chore Coat might save western wear in America.

I’ve had a bunch of people tag me / send me photos from the Post Malone runway show in Paris and ask my thoughts.
Here’s my thoughts…
I think it’s awesome. Haven’t seen any of the pieces in person of course. But assuming they’re well made and high quality, then I think it’s awesome. Favorite thing I saw was the little guitar pick pocket on his jeans. The jackets look great too. And I didn’t see any tech fabric western fishing shirts - which makes me happy. Not a fan of those. Looks like he’s using natural materials, the stuff looks tasteful and classic, with a few wild cards. Cause why not.
The dude is going for it, taking new creative risks, trying new things. When he doesn’t have to. The world needs more of that. And if he gets more people into western wear, then hell yeah.
He’s worn tons of stuff from many other smaller brands over the years including ours. Never asked for anything for free. Just did it.
I hope it’s successful and he succeeds.
I can’t see a double rainbow, and not think of that YouTube video from 15 years ago

Had no idea James Dyson was an absolute savage.

What a quote.
“The Edge... There is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over. The others-the living-are those who pushed their control as far as they felt they could handle it, and then pulled back, or slowed down, or did whatever they had to when it came time to choose between Now and Later. But the edge is still out there.”
― Hunter S. Thompson, Hell's Angels
So hard. Yet so simple.

Working on new Desert Chore Coats. It’s a classic chore coat - but unlined, slightly lighter weight materials (better for warmer places like the desert, hence the name). I need to post another video because this mirror makes it impossible to see the piece 🤣 oops

Every year, we sell more of this shirt than any other. Does anyone have ideas / thoughts as to why? I’ve got my own suspensions… but it’s cool to hear feedback from others. People see stuff we don’t. And describe things in ways we didn’t think of.
(Will do another post soon on our worst selling shirt).

What do you love about your favorite shirt?
Any Bones of J.R. Jones fans?
