How a bitcoiner can watch this video, and think nothing of it? If you are a bitcoiner, why wouldnt this make your blood boil? Why would you not act like anything bitcoin core is cancer? Are you really a bitcoiner, if you are not running knots rn?

BIP444 is more useful to bitcoiners than taproot ever was.

nostr + bitcoin rollup. only anchor a hash on the timechain. npub is the address type. each script has its own rollup — isolated, but can depend on others. you only store the data for the scripts you care about. payments via lightning invoices + reservations. mobile apps can host their own nostr relays over onion, holding their own copy. somebody make it or im gonna make it when i have time sometime, idk when.

i have 3 bitcoin nodes. one is running on my "home server" (my old laptop). its a full node with electrum, mempool, lightning, DATUM, and stuff. one is running on my laptop, and its pruned. one is running on my phone, and its also pruned. so more like i have 1 node and 2 relays.

btw bitcoin is already quantum safe. quantum computers are really bad at reversing hash of course as expected. and bitcoin addresses are already hashes of the public key. and you dont expose your public key, if you dont spend from that address. so if you are never using the same address twice, you are quantum safe. if you are using a proper bitcoin wallet, your change utxo always goes to a new address as well. so its a none issue. EXCEPT for lightning. lightning is kinda of a problem here. but it can also be made safe currently if we can transfer ownership of our side of the channel to a new address, every time we interact with the channel on chain.

i used to kinda like cashu, but other than "privacy", what does it solve NWC(Nostr Wallet Connect) doesn't already.
