The monument of Stalin in Riga. There are a few of these.
The one in Warsaw was built by the soviets after WWII. When the Polish capital was completely destroyed they decided to build the tallest building in the city centre so that everyone from could see it from miles away and be reminded of the big brothers might.
Today the Warsaw palace is known as Palace of Science and Culture and host one of top European Bitcoin events @Bitcoin FilmFest π€

As my good friend @npub1fr2m...spuk said - this Freedom Monument in #Riga was raised in 1935 to represent the hope for freedom in the future.
Since then Latvia was occupied by Russians, Germans and Poles.
The monument still represents the idea of hope for the future but... the future doesn't exist! We have to build it!
So you can live your life like this statue - standing by and hoping for the future like all the normies, NPCs and others locked in the matrix or you can take responsibility, use the Freedom Tech tools like Bitcoin and nostr, and build your own future without asking for permission.
The tools are there.
The choice is yours.

This is so cute! Thanks @Agi Choote π«Ά
