>small UTXOs are bad. you should have consolidated your UTXOs. we should confiscate small UTXOs. I am very smart ok Mr. Enlightened Buttlicker, what is the maximum size of an unspendable UTXO next year or in five years? you don't know. nobody fucking knows.

core: push the centralization to L2, align mempool policy with consensus, say no to every useful upgrade knots: push the centralization to L2, antagonize the few remaining devs who didn't already switch to altcoins, start an endless game of whac-a-mole, call everyone who disagrees a pedophile, say no to every useful upgrade core is being slightly less retarded but they both have no plan. there is no plan to deal with L2 centralization that already exists today and is increasing. they just shoved it under the rug and pretend it doesn't matter. you go with core or knots, you still get the same outcome. centralization wins either way.

lightning has convinced the infrastructure that centralization is a solution instead of a problem. it's a satanic inversion that undermines bitcoin

half the time when I want to send a video to my crapple family I have to send it to my work iPhone to see if it will even play first. some of the ffmpeg flags I have to add to get a video to play on apple devices are just bizarre. why is it so picky? apple wants me to think they are the multimedia computer company for editing and content creation professionals but they are just lying. an android phone will play damn near any video I send it, even av1 webms.

the person who cries crocodile tears about 4 mb blocks that are not even full, because he is afraid that valid transactions will fill them, he is the asshole who makes bitcoin become more centralized. clowns that cry get the pie.

It is becoming more apparent to a lot of people that Lightning is not what we were told it would be 8 years ago. The way that autistic computer nerds claim to use it is not scalable. For mass adoption it totally depends on these centralized rube goldberg machines like Spark. Users don't get everything they were promised. Users need a better alternative. If you look at how much centralization Lightning has already created, it makes small conservative blocksize increases more attractive. Small blocksize increases would have introduced less centralization vs. what centralization Lightning has already introduced. We know this now! We got a bad deal. If we went in the other direction, by now we would be talking about activating more opcodes so we can have safer and more efficient sidechains. We wouldn't be complaining about Spark. It wouldn't exist! It's time to stop listening to people who constantly lie to you about centralization.

what is the point of running an ossified bitcoin node on a smartwatch if it can't scale users and payments without relying on centralized lightning companies excessively cheap nodes and missing opcodes create dangerous centralization right now. this isn't hypothetical

if the only way to fix lightning is by making it completely centralized via spark, it needs to be thrown in the incinerator. 8 years down the drain for this clown show

spark's claims of self custody are extremely questionable. they are pointing at the escape hatch and saying that it's good enough to call this self custody. try to read the documentation of how to exit from a statechain such as spark or arkade. if you have permission from the operator to go on the happy path, you can remove your funds by paying for a couple of fancy taproot transactions. they are not as cheap as a simple bitcoin payment, but maybe it won't burn everything you had. if you don't have their permission to leave on the happy path, you have to unwind all of the VTXOs you may have. this will cost a lot more. depending on the statechain implementation details and your own personal usage pattern, you may have to pay for many many transactions to unwind everything and claim it on L1. we know this trick. if the cost of unilateral exit is more than your stash, it's the same thing as using a custodian.

if you see cake wallet and say "yay, lightning network," you are promoting centralization. it's another spark wallet. we have alternative paths. they harm spark's business model and preserve decentralization in payments. that SHOULD be a good thing, but your brain got broken.
