Aristotle is having a major influence on my concept of good. I've realized a more systematic conceptual approach to it than I've before utilized, however I had already intuited an equivalent guideline. I can just kind of put it into simplified words now.
The good A, barring some additional standard besides A-ness, is that A which most exemplifies the essence of A-ness.

So the default interpretation of good is that which most exemplifies the nature of the thing it is classified as. Though this concept of good does still depend on a conceptual being to give rise to any significant applications or metaanalysis, it is a very simple conception which can even operate without appeal to consciousness, making a more efficient deductive chain and eliminating the need for appeal to authority. One must simply pick a foundation of first principles and proceed to reason the good out by that basis.
So what are you? A rational actor? The good rational actor is true to the nature of a rational actor. It is thus the true rational actor. Good is a species of the true.
