I'm really excited about wallets like blitz from @Blake Kaufman or the bullbitcoin non custodial wallet from @npub1t289...nkzs or aqua wallet.
I think these wallets bring us a new paradigm: to use lightning you dont need to share an utxo with someone else and do channel management. You neither need to go custodial.
Lightning is the routing layer, abstracted from whats the custody model adopted by users transacting.
I love it and think this is the future.
Hoping we will have new different tradeoffs in custody models, like ark, to have new options to manage different amounts in different fees-environment.
