I find it amusing when I hear someone ask “how many steps do you take?” They assume I have my phone with me every time I use my legs. How people don’t get creeped by that anyway baffles me, closed sourced app tracking your every movement? 😳
Here’s a random thought 💭 Whenever I use the term “family” I could either mean my parents and siblings OR my wife and kids. In the hundreds thousand years of human civilization, certainly we must have come up with two different words to describe both types at some point in history, perhaps an ancient culture in the past has done it.
I see this a lot more in real life, complain about never ending issues, when you provide solutions, suddenly it’s either not that serious or just out right crazy. Self sovereignty for some reason is an illusion to Muslims, and I don’t know if there a deep psychological barrier. View quoted note →
I can’t believe there are mainstream YouTube new channels openly discussing 9/11 conspiracy theories. I know if I have not been paying attention to global news but what did I miss??
One of the most difficult aspects of not having any mainstream social media apps is family and friends sending you links and you keep reminding them you can’t see it. I’m getting exhausted 😭😭
Just watched Katrina documentary on Netflix 🤯🤯 Tell me why I thought Katrina was just natural disaster, it felt so familiar seeing what’s happening in Gaza. Racism was always and still is very alive and never left. Just a very enlightening documentary for sure.
I stand corrected, I always thought zakat was a form of taxes but I have now realized that value taken from hard working people for profit by the state is the inherently haram. Zakat comes from long term savings and they go directly to the ones in need. You live to learn.
Here’s a crazy observation, cars are appreciating. That’s how bad the dollar is. An asset averaging 30k+ clicks with crazy wear and tear is “increasing in value” forget about food prices and houses. This financial crisis is wild!
I remember when the word “woke” was first being used back in the day. It was term African Americans (hate to use the word black) used for people who were aware of things and not just listening to mainstream media: “Woke” meaning awake from the matrix. Somehow the word got bastardized so much, that it starting to mean the exact opposite. Such a shame, if the clock got turned back, bitcoiners would have been considered “woke”.
This song really hit different when you think about Palestine. Especially the lyrics: “Then, I go to my brother And I say, "Brother, help me, please" But he winds up knockin' me Back down on my knees, oh”
I always tend to think of intelligence because it seems quite broad of a spectrum, but if I condense it into 1 simple indicator, I realize that it really comes down to brutal honesty. The more honest you are, the more intelligent you either are or could potentially be.
