Making an "account" is essentially zero-cost. You just make a key pair. How does this prevent the broader NOSTR mesh from becoming overcrowded by AI? Specifically in a future where NOSTR is leveraged by more and more applications. I know there is some now, and also it's still possible to detect when you encounter one. But right now AI is still relatively unsophisticated compared to what it could become (and seems like is becoming).

Not sure if there is a equivalent video on NOSTR somewhere. Regardless I appreciated @Jameson Lopp practical guide. I could give this to my parents and they could implement some of the strategies discussed.

@Boris I'm not sure this is possible, I am not a PDF expert. Regardless, is there a way to take PDFs or Epubs and then extract the text for highlighting? I figure if it's copyrighted, maybe there is some legal issue there. Just thought it would be cool to have like a book club, where you can essentially read to highlight in real time. Seems like tools like Boris are halfway there.

I don't like the idea of UBI. I wish someone could explain to me in a way that I felt more positively about it. Without magical thinking (i.e. "people will just do X"). Which I understand is a tall order.

I learned from my first week(ish) back on nostr is that I can't have it on my phone. It's just a personal flaw that I have.
