Nourish yourself with a smooth, slow, and uninterrupted breath. Genuinely feel how lucky you are to be alive today.
Take this feeling of gratitude and let it touch everything you do today.
Remember that just simply waking up is a complete gift. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Smile, laugh, & create something beautiful. Much love.

Being consistent in your positive daily habits leads to trusting yourself more, which leads to others beginning to trust you more too.
Consistency builds trust. Take good care of yourself.
If you think you’re above or below anyone, you’ve already lost.
Show respect, humility, and care to all humans.
It took me until my 30’s to see it, but surfing is definitely the truth.
I resisted it for a while, but there’s no going back. The bug has officially been caught.
One of the metaphors for life it’s taught me: you will crash and fall, but if you can get yourself back up, bliss is waiting.
There’s nothing someone can give you that will make you more.
There’s nothing someone can take away from you that will make you less.
You are whole and complete right now.
Feel it, believe it, embody it.
Start everyday in self-care mode.
Some ideas: movement outside, morning surf, intentional & slow breaths, gratitude for 5-10 things in your life, journaling for 20 minutes, walking for 30 minutes.
Anything that helps you connect to yourself & the day ahead.
It’s from this centered place that we can create epic stuff in this world that are aligned with our goals and our purpose.
The words you speak aloud carries weight and gravity.
Notice if you are putting love into the world, or if you are putting fear, shame, and guilt into the world.
You can do anything you want to in this life.
If someone tells you otherwise, it’s just them projecting their owns fears and worries onto you.
Break free.
If you’re unsure, pause, breathe, & feel into. Take some time to listen to yourself.
Then decide.
Spend four hours by yourself in nature at least once a week.
This intentional time away is a great reset for your mind.
Four hours alone will show you what four hours of scrolling hides.
Contribute to people’s lives in a positive way using your gifts.
Extracting from others in zero sum games leads to misery and depression.
A purposeful life is the best life.
The people in your life affect your energy more than you think.
Pay close attention to who drains you and who leaves you feeling revitalized.
I’m definitely a beach guy at my heart, but just spent 12 days in the mountains and it’s such a peaceful change of pace.
Feeling nourished, grounded, and connected to my daily practices of yoga & meditation.
Excited to incorporate more trips when it feels right.
I’ve found a lot of benefit from putting my phone away when eating and even if I’m hungry, doing my best to take intentional, slow bites expressing gratitude for all that had to take place for the food to be right there.
So just a reminder to slow down, be thankful, and head back into your day after you eat with more intention and care.
The right person leaves you feeling seen, respected, and at ease, not confused or belittled.
Anything less is misalignment.
Exploring new waterfalls are always a treat.

Alignment is a big theme for me recently.
Do you feel aligned in your purpose, environment, community, and integrity in the way you show up for others?
If not, take some time to reflect and journal about any misalignments that may be going on in your life.
Alignment begins the moment you stop ignoring what you know is true.
I’m looking into doing a 10-day silent Vipassana retreat in California this July.
No technology.
No talking.
Just 10 days observing the mind.
It’s one of the most powerful and safest ways I’ve heard of to reset, gain clarity, and see yourself honestly.
If anyone feels called to join, send me a private message. Cheers.
The most important relationship you’ll have is the one with yourself. Nurture it with everything you have.
Speak to yourself with care and respect.
Know that if you do your best, that’s enough.
Went to a couple men’s circles this weekend was and was epic to see the guys embrace their warrior side, emotional side, and playful side.
I really feel a big part of what’s missing in today’s world is people having a safe space to really let go and be themselves. To ultimately feel a sense of belonging with people who they really resonate with.
Community was missing for most of my life and now I’m realizing the power of it when it’s aligned. I’m working on bringing people together in a powerful way to create real, positive change.
Don’t be afraid to go to an extra event per week in your local town or internationally. The upside is massive.
