Hallucinations are not only seeing things that are not there. They can also be not seeing things that are there. The brain's capacity to edit things out, this type of omissive hallucination, is something that the majority of humans are capable of and experience on a regular basis, and can be induced to experience it, unwittingly, by hypnotic suggestion. Some people, like me, still have the hallucinatory capacity, but not the vulnerability to hypnotic suggestion. It's kinda frustrating because I have hypnotic/trauma imprinted programs in me, but normal hypnosis doesn't seem to touch me, no matter how much I want it to. This is probably why I got so interested in psychedelics, and probably need to resort to them to finish the job of clearing out the crap.

"The Science" changes because of marketing bullcrap. Real science doesn't tend to flip flop. It grows organically and mostly only the newer things change as we move further outwards from them.

IMO, it is a conspiracy to call cryptographic secret keys "private", to muddle the definition of secret (known only to a privileged party) versus private (almost always involving at least two privileged parties). A bedroom is private, and yet most adults share it with someone. A piece of land with a fence around it often has a sign saying "private property". Who shares their cryptographic secret keys with their partner, or anyone? Anyone? It's kinda against the whole principle. What's inside your brain is secret. What's between you and your wife/business partners is private. The special knowledge of your company - yes, private, not really secret. I know that the two have overlapping meanings but it's not "secret property", it's "private property". It's a secret key. It's secret because you don't tell anyone. As soon as someone else knows it, it's either private or public. It may sound like I am trying to make definitions where there isn't one, but there really needs to be a distinction since what's in my brain is secret, what I tell my friends is private, and what I post on the internet is public. If my secrets are not kept only to me, then how does anyone know if I'm behind the actions related to the use of the secrets? How many stories have you heard about people abusing the ability to access a shared secret? Why does Shamir's Secret Shares scheme have the qualifier "share" in it, if it isn't because the individual parts are still secret?

I so need to get to a dental surgeon. I'm sick to death of this wisdom tooth. I also don't know what it is I'm eating that tweaks it out. First suspect that is off the menu is artificial sweeteners of any kind. I already know that maltodextrin tweaks the bejesus out of it, but there seems to be other things too, not so severe. I also can't tell if it might not be something to do with super sugary chocolate (pure chocolate is fine, but I suspect very strongly sugar), or sunflower seeds, sunflower oil, chemically extracted olive oil, fried potatoes. Not sure either if it might not be something to do with natural or added monosodium glutemate. I used to get tooth pain from my chipped teeth years ago from certain kinds of drip filtered coffee too. Citric acid is definitely under suspicion. Part of the thing is that I daily use potassium nitrate containing toothpaste to numb the dental nerves that cause this problem, and in spite of this, I'm getting an escalating problem again. I also suspect sugars in general because certain things do this thing, I don't have a clue what it is exactly, but it seems like transdermal absorption that goes into the area around my jaw and causes this twitchng and swelling and pain, and I have this intermittent sense of swelling around my left ear as well, which seems to be tied to the thing in the jaw. Things that don't seem to have any impact on this: - milk - beef - cream - butter - peas - stout beer I'm just gonna continue to avoid anything that involves sugars or seed oils, I strongly suspect both are involved. The sunflower and pumpkin seeds are in my diet to augment my Thiamine intake but they may be contributing to this problem since they are among the things whose introduction correlates to the increasing pain.
