#Nostrich #plebs today’s as good a day as any to make the switch from a custodial Lightning wallet (WoS, BlueWallet, etc.) to a non-custodial solution. BlueWallet will be shutting down its custodial Lightning wallet service as of April 30th, 2023. If you are using it, take your sats out. Avoid this situation altogether in the future, take the non-custodial route. Wallet of Satoshi is a closed source app. Among other issues, you could be rug pulled at any time. Breez & Phoenix are easy to implement solutions, each with their own trade offs, but already better than others mentioned. Or if you are feeling adventurous you could consider running your own Lightning node. There are many great guides out there, and I’m always happy to help those looking to make the leap. Keep learning, improving and making Bitcoin/Lightning stronger! 🤙🧡
