The right’s support for 2A comes with responsibility and forethought/preparedness as key components. The newfound 2A support from the left comes with none of those things, as evidenced by a world in which a grown man didn’t think twice about carrying a firearm while expressly seeking conflict with and disruption of law enforcement. Obviously I fully support Alex Pretti’s possession of a handgun, (even the bullshit P320), but his decision to do so while fucking with the popo displays neither responsibility nor forethought, because as they teach you in any firearms class, the presence of a firearm escalates any situation.
