The salty breeze The salty breeze takes me away from a life that falls due, that demands so much A breeze forcing a break from muchness, forcing questions and allowing laughter Weathered bricks and stones sound out the echoes of what this country could be again Old men comfortable on pebbled beaches, old women walking slowly, carefully, with friends Seagulls ensnaring a dog's bark, flying into a white-speckled blue sky, the rain kept at bay By good luck, by the summer, by dreams of a life unshackled and a laugh untamed The salty breeze takes us all away if we let it

"Victim culture wants you to believe every emotion is a disease. It's not." h/t Andy Frisella I'm surrounded by victim culture in my fiat work. But thankfully not in the parallel life I'm working on with friends πŸ«‚

I have little interest in getting the UK government on-side with bitcoin A parallel life is the free life A parallel life is the life to aim for

Shine As soon as I got back my shine, you darkened my doors My shine kept singing, but I could barely hear her above your noise You brought a shadow that first felt like light, but when I couldn't see, I realised you weren't there for me You sought a lost, willing and forlorn saviour, and it was for A role I had already promised I wouldn't play nor seek others For, when you ask to be blinded by safety, by the past, you'll never see Life again, it does something, says something that makes you wish and You ask a question, beg for an answer that makes sense, an answer for the question of home. But it's never answered because home changes, and your home will never be here with me

Run Where will you go if you run? They will find you (might find you) Where will you hide if you run? Who will feed you (nurture you)? What can you build if you run? Who will build with you (stand by you)? What can you sink into if you run? Who will hold you (comfort you)? Who will hold you? Who will hold you?

Sometimes everyone is released Tonight it was just me Surrender led me to freedom Freedom leads me to everything and everyone I was right to trust even though I didn't believe I was right to hold myself to a higher standard I was right to care for myself more than I care about my success I was right to love my life I was right all along And next time I'll actually listen to the warning shot

Can life just chill out for a second? So I can catch my breath image

Life is experiential and not to be lived following a guide book full of warnings Watch the path unfold and decide where the dangers are for yourself. Not someone else's idea of danger, just yours The dangers gifted to you by mum and dad, and the people who compounded them Own the dangers that wreck you, and the ones you swerve. You played a part, big or small in creating this art. Art that will be trashed or remembered - it doesn't really matter, as long as creating it did render you some joy

My attention leaks towards things that don't serve me, while seeking and striving for the pure and divine. I ask to one day have the sanctuary of a strong bond, exchanged for my discipline in the face of distraction now. A promise kept for a promise made. An exchange of energy, love and loyalty. With no refraction, no distraction, just a pure beam.

Don't get rekt Instead: Stack sats, stop looking at charts and tickers, curtail the cortisol, live peacefully, die happy.

There's nothing quite like listening to Colter Wall on a flight when you're beyond tired, and the dopamine and serotonin levels are wrecked. Goodbye BTC Prague, you were brilliant and I'll see you next year 🫢🏽

What do you do when you run your own business but you don't like it anymore? And then a friend waves what looks like the perfect bitcoin job, under your nose? Do you just jack in the business if the job offer comes through? I had been thinking I'd change one thing for a bunch of different small things. Not a direct 1 to 1 change. Plus I don't know if I can handle having a boss and 24 days holiday a year. I've been making my own hours for 10+ years, and taking around 2 months off a year 😬

"The feeling of a nervous system that has re-regulated itself is a massive anti-climax. It's not a bad thing, but it's sooo boring." Overheard, and I concur.

'Postmodernism asked, "Can you believe in anything?" Metamodernism replies, "We have to try."' The vibe shift is here to stay. And the unclean energy of neverending complaining is breaking down.

There's a picture I have of home, and it changes because we can make a new home wherever we go. Let's go. There's a place by the old forest, on a lake that gives us what we seek, a deep peace. Let's stay. There's a beat inside my chest that stays constant; it is home, it is peace, it is there. Listen.

My heart is the fullest and most open it's been in so long But nothing stays as it is Sometimes freedom is found in simply surrendering to fate

I just had the most amazing, unfiltered and open conversation with a retired woman who lives in Dubai. Only the fourth one we've ever had, but the sense of mutual respect is palpable. We don't agree on everything but we can see each others perspectives. If we lived in the same place we'd be firm friends despite the big age gap between us. We all need this energy in our lives. 🫢🏽

I've just told the first of my clients that I might not be here running my business by the end of 2026, but sooner if I can get away with it. This feels like the beginnings of a body-battering tsunami. Because in the matrix it's utterly bonkers to stop doing something I've worked so hard to build over the last 10 years. But I've lost almost all love for it, luckily there are just a few people who keep me interested in it. The call of the wild is getting stronger and I'm not getting any younger, so what the fuck do I want to work in a fucked up system for? Change approaches Life sways and vibrates Fears surface I'm feeling scared and alive image

Sometimes the simplest songs are the most beautiful You have to find yourself all over again once you find bitcoin. Because it changes everything you though you know about yourself. Including your sense of home. image
