I continue to work on my picture book idea, the deadline for submissions is approaching, and I’m feeling a bit of perfectionism creeping in. So here are a few seemingly harsh words that I lovingly say to myself: 1. Focus on the task at hand. Maybe the book would be 100 times better if you developed a new technique and tried all these mediums you’ve been meaning to try. Or maybe you’re just procrastinating.
