Listening to this helped me keep returning to my body when all I wanted was to flee the pain and discomfort during the weeks I spent in bed after surgery last September. It helped me breathe in new vitality and return to a deeper trust in the miraculous healing nature of my body.

We just chilling here... Never said no to a healing kitty purr on my body and some sweet nervous system co-regulation with a furry friend.

What does it feel like to let your old identity die? We are at the threshold of rebirth. The old is being stripped away. We enter naked.

I just discovered something deeply therapeutic on multiple levels - nervous system, endorphins, physical, and as a reminder that I am capable and have the capacity to hit targets and goals. And I can be great at it too. I just gotta aim!!!! I don’t think I’ve touched a basketball in decades?!? 👀 But today reminded me how much I loved it, and how much I wanted to play when I was 10, even though I was tiny compared to my peers. A friend brought a basketball to the park. He said it wasn’t very bouncy, but I’m so glad he did. He kept passing it to me because, as he noted, it made me so happy to keep hitting the target. I’m grateful he did. I asked him to record me so I could remember the moment. Now I’m wishing I were staying here longer, and hoping my next destination brings some basketball opportunities my way. I need to play basketball!!
