A friend asked me if I would play a role in her reels for her brand new fertility support business. I said yes. I felt it could not only be supportive for her but me too... So I went over and she recorded me asking a few questions. And I got to go home with two giant organic fresh tomatos from her garden. And maybe get in front of her camera also helped stoke my fire a bit too...

Getting some rage out with some air punching and my favorite "she's got kick"... and wow memories flood in... I used to do these Billy Blanks Tae Bo work out videos like 18 years ago on a couple of CDs I used to have. Which is where I learned the "she's got kick" ☝🏻 Definitely gonna have to do a session now that I've remembered this! I am realiIng #Taebo is fucking perfect to rage with.

Anger isn’t the problem. Suppressing it, bypassing it, or exploding it everywhere - that’s where things go sideways. Here’s a healthier way to work with rage when it hits: Step 1: Name it. “I’m angry. Something feels off.” That’s not weakness or drama, it’s awareness. Step 2: Move it. Anger lives in the body. Shake. Stomp. Punch a pillow. Scream into a towel. Run. Sweat. Cold shower. Let your body do what your mind can’t. Step 3: Let it speak (safely). Journal uncensored. Voice memo it out. Maybe make it ephemeral on and let yourself be witnessed by the field. Or not. No filter, no audience. Just get the rawness out of your system. Step 4: Get curious. What’s under the rage? A boundary crossed? A deep value dismissed? Old grief showing up in disguise? Step 5: Use the fire. Anger is fuel. Fuel for decisions. Boundaries. Change. Don’t throw it at people - build with it.
