“Sending” money through banks is kind of funny when you think about it. It’s really just one bank subtracting from one account and another bank adding to another. I used to imagine it like they were actually moving digital stacks of cash or something.

The more I learn about something the more I realize how bad people are at explaining things. Doing your own work rather than taking things at face value. Not trusting 100% what someone says. These are things I use every single day. But that’s kind of a negative way to look at things and can be unproductive if you just wallow in “everyone is stupid”, the real power comes from being able to politely teach the other person after you do some research.

“Acquired” is the first new podcast that I’ve enjoyed in a while. Definitely not new, and already way popular, but it feels good to find a new quality source of information. They tell stories of how successful companies came to be.
