given that people can't seem to agree on a path for CTV-like constructs, we should seek to move forward with OP-CCV (BIP 443), the successor to OP-VAULT.
Everyone wants vaults. They're obvious, useful constructs that have a clear use case. The implementation surface is smaller than CTV packages.

If European leaders are tactical, they will let Groenland be taken (they can't win a military engagement there, and have little to gain by engaging), and use the event as their Rubicon. Then immediately pivot to bolster mainland Europe defenses, militarily, economically, diplomatically.

Grateful for a great year of music and books
The US is angling to attack Europe, because Europe is weak. It has little to do with purity of free speech laws. With troops already on the continent, a military attack on Europe is entirely in scope, within 5 years or less.
The US cant attack china or russia, but it needs some war to rekindle its economy. EU makes sense. Major objectives can be met quickly, while on the ground urban warfare requires continuous investment.
America doesn't leave NATO, it subsumes it entirely. Europe needs to wake up, fast.
