It makes perfect sense in the context of the State's internal logic. The latter threatens its "legitimacy" (very high concern), the former threatens its subjects (very low concern). image

For anyone sincerely wondering how Western Protestantism was overtaken by "Christian Zionism", look no further than the 17th century British Christian restorationism movement

Weird how I've heard all kinds of speculation on "Signalgate", but not the one where the NSA (or whatever) has a forked version of Signal installed on govt phones – as I believe Waltz or Ratcliffe or some other doofus said they were given phones with Signal pre-installed. If true, someone should really verify the SHA256 checksum on those apps...

"The powerful understand that narrative control is everything. Power is the ability to control what happens, but ultimate power is the ability to control what people THINK about what happens. Human consciousness is dominated by mental narratives, so if you can control what narratives the humans believe about their reality, you can control the humans. "...The empire invests extensively in narrative control, as do manipulative people in general. If you've ever had the misfortune of knowing a malignant narcissist or sociopath, you'll know they tend to pour immense amounts of energy into manipulating the social narrative about themselves and the people in their circle. Manipulators understand the power of narrative control, while ordinary people do not." https://nitter.net/caitoz/status/1904997087873573072

One of the best unedited fight scenes next to Oldboy's (give me more)
The long, blood-soaked trail of the US Empire has left a profoundly tragic spiritual death in the soul of every single American. Fear, anger, the lust for vengeance, the celebration of violence and death...all of which lead to a Kierkegaardian despair. One of the first steps toward renewal is by decoupling one's own identity from that of the nation-state, in thought and in action.
