bookmarks for the open web
the beauty of #nostr is the use of relays as open databases linked to a specific application. the social apps store a ton of different note kinds where @Deepmarks.org only stores a few types related to bookmarks. all the databases with public read can be joined together in whatever way a developer desires.
right now our archiving of video and mp3 files from podcasts are in beta, but the goal will be any link you bookmark can be archived on blossom for posterity

anyone can build a bookmarking app that uses #nostr , and also happens to use our relay and provide value to the entire community of users.
There is no lockin, just small web services built by the community that if loved can last a long time

we also pull in your kind1 bookmarks and archive them as well so if you bookmark a great post off @damus or @primal or amethyst we archive that for our lifetime members as well so you have it if the relays that store it ever go down.

#nostr is far more than just social media
it is an protocol for open content than can be pulled into many types of apps.
historically when you used a bookmarking service your content lived on a closed server that may have been nice enough to give api access.
by publishing bookmarks on a relay any app creator can use public bookmarks and users can decrypt their private bookmarks and view them alongside other content.
do you want your llm to use your bookmarks for a specific project? just point it at relay.deepmarks.org and query against your npub.
when you archive a website for the future it lives with its hash on blossom.deepmarks.org
before google will let us publish our android app we just need some opt in closed beta testers

we have created a bookmarking site similar to classic del.icio.us but using nostr relays.
bookmarks can be private or public and we have snapshot archiving of your bookmarks published on our blossom relay for a 21,000 sats lifetime fee.
