Many non-fiction book could have been shorter essays. Instead author stretches one idea over hundereds of pages.
Same things used for the opposite purpose.
I find it amusing, that those little devices that some households use to make they TV "smart" (is it called smart TV box?), is the same exact hardware which is used by other people to run a full #bitcoin node, lightning node, monero, nostr rellays etc.
Darknet maximalism?
So, I have been using a paid public VPN service for some time. Intention is to obscure location from naughty websites and corporations. Not an ideal solution, but theoretically it achieves something.
Now my question:
Has anyone tried using TOR for as many things possible? I am talking about using mainly Tor browser for normal browsing, or if not that, at least make it part of daily workflow. Then all messaging apps. Low badwidth stuff, like rss feed. Basicly it is about consciously trying as much as possible.
Where would be the limit of practicality? Has anyone acually tried?
This ilustrates well what kind of things can be done to a computer. Makes me think of the journalists who had their laptop taken at the airport.
