Is it reasonable to suspect that manufacturers of hardware authentication keys (such as Yubikey) store copies of the device private keys? With an obvious security risks that it implies?
Old internet was great!
There is a website in my country that serves a P2P second hand goods market place. That site looks the same for 20 years. Some would say that it looks old. I just had a relization that browsing on that website is actually a pleasant experience - here is no bulshit, everything is done transparently, javascript is only for picture slides. You don't need an account.
Bitcoin is the Linux of money. Every serious operation will use it, plus individuals who put in a bit of effort and don't want to be slaves. Everyone else will keep using old crappy solution, while the thing makes the world go around. Quietly, in the background.
A film recommendation:
The idea, that victimhood gives gives person a moral highground, is perhaps the most significant defining characteristic of jude-christian thinking (Nietzsche), and by extention, modern leftism.
Peak example of this, that I recently stumbled uppon, is the film Punishment Park from 1971. It is a victimhood fantasy distopia made by leftists. If you are a leftist, you will feel deeply for the characters (I would have in the past). If you are not, it will give you a great insight into leftist thinking, and perhaps you will be bevildered by the fact, that such film can even exist. Very well made.
