"Have you seen what's trending on the blue app?" "Nope." 😅 I've been spending more time exploring a different corner of the internet lately. While everyone was talking about the latest political buzz, I was busy designing my mask for the Black Butterfly community and enjoying a platform that encourages creativity and meaningful interactions. Sometimes, it's okay to miss the trends when you're discovering something new. image

Brain Boost Activity #1 #LanguageLovers Hello everyone! Here's my entry. 😊 Ms. Cheng | Manila, Philippines I'm proud to share five beautiful Tagalog words that are commonly used in our daily lives. These words reflect the warmth, respect, and values of Filipino culture. Magandang umaga – Good morning Example:Magandang umaga sa inyong lahat! (Good morning, everyone!) Salamat po – Thank you Example: Salamat po sa inyong tulong at kabutihan. (Thank you for your help and kindness.) Kumusta ka? – How are you? Example:Kumusta ka na? Sana ay nasa mabuti kang kalagayan. (How are you? I hope you're doing well.) Ingat – Take care Example: Ingat sa iyong pag-uwi! (Take care on your way home!) Bayanihan – Community spirit or helping one another Example: Ang bayanihan ay nagpapakita ng pagtutulungan ng mga Pilipino sa oras ng pangangailangan. (Bayanihan shows the Filipino spirit of helping one another in times of need.) Tagalog is more than just a language—it carries our traditions, values, and identity as Filipinos. As Filipinos, we have many pamahiin specially when it comes to board exams. Some may believe in them, while others may not—but this is one story I'll always cherish. Two days before my board exam, I bought a #2 pencil. There's a well-known belief that you should ask someone accomplished—a board passer, a topnotcher, a teacher, or anyone successful—to sharpen your pencil for good luck. I could have asked anyone. But I chose someone who had never taken a board exam. Someone who didn't have a long list of achievements yet. Because I wasn't looking at who she was at that moment—I was looking at the person I knew she would become. I saw someone who is smart, kind, talented, hardworking, and beautiful inside and out. Someone I truly believe is meant for great things. So I placed my faith in her and asked her to sharpen my pencil. A month later, the results came out... I passed the board exam on my very first take. Coincidence? Maybe. Pamahiin? Perhaps. But for me, it was something even more meaningful. The person who sharpened my pencil was my daughter. ❤️ A mother's heart sees greatness long before the world does. And no matter where life takes her, I will always believe in the amazing future that awaits her. image

Just got home, and I'm not feeling my best. 🤧 Sneezing, a runny nose, a headache, a slight fever, and body aches have finally caught up with me. I think my body is telling me it's time to slow down and rest. I'll be setting my phone aside and taking a little break from social media while I recover... maybe for a whole minute. 😅 See you all when I'm feeling better. Stay safe, take care of yourselves, and don't forget to get enough rest too. 💚 image

My boss asked me a favor this morning—to stop by Dangwa Flower Market and buy flowers for her daughter's graduation before heading to the office, since I live nearby. Well... yes, you heard that right—I’m back to working Saturdays starting this week after they were suspended due to the oil crisis. Not exactly how I imagined spending my Saturday, but that's work. Wishing everyone a relaxing weekend filled with good food, rest, and beautiful flowers. 💐 image

Charot! Wento ko lang, 1st pet ko si Mimim. Very cute Cat. First heartbreak. Tagal ko di maka move on. Nakaka miss. My BCH Nostr journey started when our virtual sissy, Chucha, posted an invitation in our women's Facebook group asking who wanted to join a different kind of social network. She said it was a place where we could share our thoughts, interact with others, and learn new things. At first, I was hesitant. When I opened the link, I saw it was related to cryptocurrency. My first thought was that it was all about investing or recruiting people to trade crypto. I wasn't familiar with Web3, and I honestly believed crypto was only for millionaire investors, professional traders, or highly technical people. Even though I work in the construction industry, mainly in procurement and data systems, crypto felt like something completely outside my world. Still, I decided to give it a try. I signed up, installed a Bitcoin Cash wallet, and started sharing my thoughts. What made me stay was realizing that, even if many people here don't use their real names, they are real people with real minds—not AI. The community is welcoming, generous, and supportive. I was honestly overwhelmed when I started receiving zaps. On other social media platforms, it's almost impossible to earn even $5 in two days just by sharing your thoughts. I joined on June 16, and I'm still here. Now I'm slowly learning more about Bitcoin Cash, Web3, and even trading. I'm starting to understand all the "pump" and "dump" conversations everyone talks about—haha! There's still so much to learn, but I'm excited to keep growing with this amazing community. Thank you, @nengste1, for organizing this activity! #Activity1 #ShareYourBCHStory

Last night I had one of the most vivid dreams I've ever experienced. I was having a conversation with a beautiful woman. I didn't know her name, and I'd never met her before, but she was remarkably articulate. I can't remember most of what we talked about, except for one moment that has stayed with me. She told me, "You should visit a beautiful place." I asked, "What place?" She replied, "Tabon Puting Buhangin." The moment she said those words, my phone alarm rang and I woke up. Those were the only words I clearly remembered. Curious, I immediately searched Google for "Tabon Puting Buhangin," but I couldn't find an exact match. Instead, my search led me to places like Tubigon, Ferrol in Romblon, and several beaches called Puting Buhangin. What makes it even more interesting is that I was born and raised in Manila. I grew up without beaches, forests, or farms around me, so I have no idea why my mind created that place—or whether it even exists. Maybe it was just a dream. Or maybe it was my subconscious reminding me that somewhere out there is a beautiful place waiting to be discovered. P.S Below picture is the Tabon Cave in Palawan ,there is a sandy beach right at the entry point of the caves. 😅 image
