Unpopular opinion: Lightning โšก will become the Fedimint+LSP-only model and Ecash will be the dominant way to transact everywhere simply because of its bearer asset + offline properties. Literally how my brain went when I first understood #Bitcoin ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿง He said "You can move electricity from one place to the other without electric lines using Bitcoin mining โ›๏ธ,? Jesus that's impressive!"

Why do #bitcoin companies badly need to "touch" users' money? We already have a system perfect for that. It's called fiat.

I always think I'm a normal user but maybe I'm not so normal.. There's nothing "normal" about me.

Pay ANY bills with #bitcoin. Emphasis on A. N. Y. Why would you do that? Well because Bitcoin just goes up over time so you spend less overall on your bills. Who doesn't want that? Also there are so many ways to keep the value of your Bitcoin stable, it's ridiculous. For example, you can use Stable Balance โ™Ž on @Fedi !

๐Ÿ’จโฉFrom zero to Bitcoin marketplace in 30 seconds.โฉ๐Ÿคฏ No account. No email. No KYC. No seed phrase to write down. Watch: one link โ†’ @Fedi installed โ†’ federation joined โ†’ wallet ready โ†’ two communities loaded โ†’ SatoshiMarket open โ†’ ready to pay bills, trade sats, buy anything. 30 seconds. I timed it. You can probably do it in 15. This is what onboarding looks like when you stop asking people to understand Bitcoin and just let them use it. One link. One tap. Youโ€™re in. โšก๐Ÿงพ #bitcoin #ecash #fedimint

๐Ÿš€ Hey guys! I just created a Bill Pay Feature powered by the Community. Here's how Bill Pay works on SatoshiMarket: 1. Someone posts a bill they need paid (electricity, internet, phone, etc.) and locks their sats in escrow 2. You see the listing, check the bill details, and if you have fiat to spare โ€” you accept the trade 3. You pay the bill using whatever method works (M-Pesa, bank transfer, Cashapp, etc.) 4. Share proof of payment in the trade 5. Both of you confirm, the sats are released to your wallet instantly It's basically: you pay someone's bill with fiat, they pay you in Bitcoin. Everyone wins. The escrow protects both sides โ€” nobody can cheat. Try it out! ๐Ÿงพโšก"

SatoshiMarket just shipped client-side Shamir Secret Sharing for our Escrow ๐Ÿ”. โœ‚๏ธ Your sats are split into 3 encrypted shares before leaving your device. The server never sees your full ecash notes. 2-of-3 participants must cooperate to release funds. The server operator mathematically cannot touch your sats. โšก๏ธAlso shipped: - Federation-scoped VIP listings with ecash probe verification, - 5-tier trust-based lending levels, - community arbiter recruitment, - FAQ, - light mode, - and automatic listing broadcasts to your Fedi community rooms. 90+ improvements across the board in less than a week. Non-custodial. Community-governed. Built on Fedimint + Nostr.

Itโ€™s so funny because I built this tool for myself, out of HEAVY frustration ๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿ˜คfor not being able to send money to my own mother in another countryโ€ฆ All I need is to connect with an army of people who have the same problem. Do you struggle too? ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿค” image

๐ŸŸ ๐Ÿ” What if you could trade with anyone on earth โ€” and never worry about getting scammed? Introducing Satoshi Market โ€” the first Bitcoin-native escrow system built on Multisig 2-of-3, powered by the @Fedi Community. Here's how it works: ๐Ÿ”‘ You hold a key ๐Ÿ”‘ The other party holds a key ๐Ÿ”‘ A trusted Fedi community member holds the third Funds move only when 2 of 3 agree. No single person can steal. No corporation controls your money. No centralized platform deciding who gets paid. This is what trustless peer-to-peer commerce actually looks like. ๐Ÿง  If you're new to Bitcoin โ€” this means you can buy, sell, or trade with a complete stranger and your money is locked and protected until both sides are happy. Think of it like an escrow agent, except there's no bank, no company, and no one can run off with your funds. โšก If you're a Bitcoin OG โ€” you already know how powerful multisig is. Now imagine it as a service layer anyone can use for any peer-to-peer trade. We just made it dead simple. ๐Ÿซ‚ If you're in a Fedi community โ€” YOUR community is the trust layer. Your reputation, your people, your keys. This is community-powered commerce and it's never been done like this before. This isn't a marketplace (yet ๐Ÿ‘€). This is the foundation โ€” the engine of trust that makes every future peer-to-peer transaction possible. Marketplace coming soon. But the escrow? It's live. Right now. ๐Ÿ”— satoshimarket.app Have you ever seen anything like this? Be honest ๐Ÿ‘‡ #Bitcoin #Multisig #Escrow #Fedi #Fedimint #PeerToPeer #TrustlessCommerce #SatoshiMarket #CircularEconomy #BuildOnBitcoin

A lot of people know very well how to do their job. However they never thought about doing their job, ON THEMSELVES. Let's say you're excellent at Payroll. You can pay other people, but in no way shape or form, you'll automatically know how to pay yourself. Strange isn't it?
