Gold is up $114 this morning. That means the market cap expanded by something like 1/3 of Bitcoins total market cap TODAY. When Bitcoin runs, with absolute scarcity, when the US pivots to Bitcoin, it’s going to be EPIC. Can we still have draw downs before that happens, of course, but do not try to time this move!

I’m the board treasurer at my kids #waldorfschool this year. It’s Saturday and I just want to chill, but today is the all school meeting where I have to present the schools financials in front of all the families. I don’t like public speaking but I do like pushing myself to get better at things that dont come naturally so I’m trying to reframe this as an opportunity instead of a chore. For better or worse, the hard part won’t last more than 8 minutes…..is what I tell my wife….hey-oh! (Sorry, I can’t decide if I’m a grown up yet or not, but probably not).

My mind is anchored to gold market cap being $20T. Imagine my surprise when I learned that after the rally gold market cap is $30T. That’s going to make it even more fun to watch Bitcoin outgrow gold. I’m starting to think the winning move is massive dollar debts offset with fat Bitcoin stacks. I’ve generally avoided debt, but…..

This week in podcasts, @HODL said Bitcoin might be a leaked skunkworks government project and @ODELL said there is a non-zero chance gold is the real winner. Meanwhile Bitcoin is struggling to hold six figures. Always darkest before the dawn? 🚀 🚀 🚀

Power move for Trump during the government shutdown (if he actually gave a shit about freedom): set up a donation program to keep paying the salaries of enlisted military personnel but in Bitcoin after the emergency funds run out. Give each solider mandatory education on how to use Bitcoin. Push through diminimus cap gains exemption. Trump personally contributes a few hundred million to the fund. Bitcoiner’s would donate because it’s a mass orange pilling event. Everyone would cheer the president putting up his own money to support the troops and the dems would look like goons.
