Big fiat corporations primarily don’t use premium vanilla beans for products…
They generally use what’s called splits and cuts…
Pretty much the cheapest beans they can get from any producer…

We strive for producing the best quality products…
The bare minimum time for vanilla paste production is 2 months…
For vanilla extract it’s at least 1 year…
Sure we could make a batch of vanilla paste in a day and sell it the same day (like most manufacturers do) or use cheap vanilla powder, but either of those would be a subpar product…
Yeah you can take short cuts in the extract production process and cut the time down to 6 months but that would be a subpar product as well…
No short cuts used!
We want the best quality and that takes time.
The Aztecs called vanilla tlilxóchitl, meaning black flower. This indicates that they were more interested in the cured bean, which is a dark brown, rather than the flower itself which is a greenish white.
