"Batch exits" are underexplored in the effort to scale bitcoin
L2s like Lightning and Ark both support "unilateral exits," and you can save space by exiting directly from one L2 into another, but you can save even *more* space by doing that in batches

The idea that feerate estimates are materially downgraded when a node lacks a few dozen spam transactions seems completely ridiculous when you realize that they are barely affected when you don't have a mempool at all
On a long enough time horizon, all government services will be deemed essential, and shutdowns won't actually shut anything down. I give other examples in this post:
