Been outside for a walk instead of working on @Workstr It feels good to the soul a bit on sunlight. However I still managed to get the tip jar going. A lot of UX work needs to be done and polished. Too technical for the average person at the gym. The way I see it: 1- create an account - edit profile picture - edit name 2- turn on Tip Jar 🫙 - enable receiving tip - choose tip amount (default) 3- Start training 4- create Workout programs 5- receive tips 6- start tipping Under the hood, what they don’t need to see: 1- Generate #nostr key - edit kind0 2- Create & sync #monero wallet from node 3- use kind 33401 from relay 4- publish kind 33402 to relay 5- receive targeted payments 6- send targeted payments #monero and #nostr wins.

GM #nostr I’m overdue for a break from my @workstr project rabbit hole. Just go around a way to create a #monero hot wallet for tips. The point is to remove friction if QR code. I want a seamless integration that people won’t know it’s #nostr or #monero. This will be our community Troy Horse

Unpopular opinion, I just added to @workstr a mandatory PIN code with 9 digit used to access your encrypted NSEC when you import it on device. This will be also used to protect your hot #monero wallet within the app for seamless tips. I am even thinking of removing support for signer and extensions. You can currently transfer your nsec to another device via QR code with encrypted msg on relay. The less bells and whistles, the higher the speed and less frictions for new comers. People introduced to the app from the gym won’t know they have a #Nostr account or are using #Monero. I’m building a powerhouse under the hood.

This is my #bitcoin rant. When i first started in #bitcoin in 2021, it was quite simple. Buy, HODL. Bitcoin wasnt mainstream, bitcoin was still barely mineable. The big bad wolf was Eth and it was profitable to mine. Later on, came Lightning Network. Building nodes was a thing. Umbrel was starting as a OS, trying to ease the pain of building a bare metal node and trying to increase usability of Lightning network because the onchain fees were horrendous. Then came the crash after the 2021 ATH. Bitcoin Startups from 2021 tried to brace for impact, we saw some solutions for inexisting needs, we saw a bunch of HW coming to light, some nodes/servers chargeing a fortune for a below par computer. Fast forward a few years, adoption is high, institutional adoption is high, Onchain is centralised with Saylor and institution, Lightning Network is centralized with a few big corporate running node cutting off plebs nodes. You cannot build on BTC, you need to build around or make it fit. it is like a old bungalow that you cannot remove walls or roof but you are trying to scale it to a cottage (2 stories). Liquid Network failed, Rootstocl failed, now Spark is the trend. BTC is almost 65% of its ATH and is loosing all momentum. Influencers are now looking at the new kid on the block #monero. When are we going to see XMRsession? FML

GM #nostr, This one will be my “piece de resistance”. 👀 One #monero feature that will remove move of the tipping feature.

I’m thinking of rotating what’s salvageable from my LN to #monero and use the 6 cores of ressources to add to my mining VM. This shit ain’t worth it.
