I spent the day with one of our community vendors, he has received substantial #Bitcoin payments that he didn’t touch for now 7-8 months. He serves 200-300 @Makerere Students per day. We sold our first 40 liters of liquid soap 🧼 Last week Afan & Edith led the children at nostr:npub1wkjvvung3ajn04f2gcu46ft3aw762jlzsjdsk2pgwhpz3kqxhs7q0uz9p0 through their first commercial production of liquid soap! As one of our sustainability models, the children are learning how to make & SELL the soap to the community, I’m really proud that they sold their first 40 liters and will be making more tomorrow. The money made from these projects will reduce our dependency on donations while giving the children permanent life skills. We have more sustainability models to unlock this year & next year; This year 1. Commercial Liquid Soap (65% done) 2. Making Reusable Sanitary Towels(10%) 3.
