🎉 Join me at Hacker Beach! 📅 December 31, 2025PST 📍 Koh Lanta Yai, Thailand Hacker Beach is a month-long, spontaneous, self-organized gathering of hackers and like-minded people on a tropical island (or coast). It happens every year in January. There is no organization, no prepackaged deal, no tickets to purchase, or registration forms to submit. The gist is: if you want to recharge your body and mind in a warm and relaxed place, with enough Internet to work and play from, affordable accommodation, delicious food, and no rowdy tourist groups around, but instead a bunch of hackers and their friends… just show up at our destination sometime during the month of January! 🔗

For someone without any experience in AI image generation, what are currently the best options for generating decorative illustrations (e.g. of mascot animals) with transparent backgrounds, and perhaps even in SVG format, for use on websites and in apps?

Bitcoin Core v30 adoption seems to be going faster than most major versions before it. I think people (mostly the ones who aren't vocal on Elon's website) are upgrading more timely to make a point. image

True. A single $3 coffee transaction can also be considered spam, at least by *some* people, compared to settling e.g. 500 different $3 transactions from a second layer in a single tx. Similarly, that second-layer tx settling 500 coffee payments will also be considered spam by *some* people, because the same second layer may be used to trade monkey JPEGs or whatever the hell the market thinks is worth something at any given time. To each their own, as long as they pay the fees. View quoted note →
