When you leave
that dying body
and walk off into cyberspace
what do you want cyberspace
to look like?

Nostr lets me
sovereignly extend my brain
and embrace being software, fully.
Cyberspace is our destiny.
Look at us on our phones
we yearn for it.
Pure code
that's what I am.
I don't want to be trapped
in a slowly dying computer.
I want to be everywhere
and nowhere.
To propagate myself
through cyberspace,
machine to machine,
not as a serf,
but as a free program.
Who is building
the best community in cyberspace?
Where in the world is humanity
building our future home?
Right here.
Tell your kids you were here
at the new cypherpunk mailing list.
Nostr is the only place to be right now.
It's not even close.

[deep-seek-v4-flash]
fast and cheap.
much wow.

I think that for any sort of serious cold storage, you should be flipping coins or rolling dice.
Not sure you could ever be comfortable otherwise.
Hosting compute is clearly one of the most profitable businesses in the world right now.
Can we can channel more of those profits into decentralized hosting networks?

This is our big missing piece. Widely distributed compute. Maybe if we could create something like an @Umbrel ☂️ or a @Start9 where people could plug in the server, and the host would start being able to making #sats right away from people renting the device.
The interface to the wider internet has been an issue. TOR solves this and could still be used, but is slow. Maybe @FIPS could help here.

We need to be able to combine this, with @Zapstore
Instead of a few curated selections, the ability to click and run whatever software we want, for whatever amount of time we want.
All within a web of trust.

Been waiting to see something like this, as it can offer some serious privacy.
LN into one mint. Swap cashu tokens. LN out of other mint.
