Recently heard of acquired savant syndrome. Super fascinating. People essentially experience some sort of trauma or injury and acquire skills like playing instruments, instant calculation, new languages, etc

My son asked me who made nature.
I said, probably a kid in his bedroom.
And I have no reason to believe that’s not true.
I saw someone using motion gestures to interact with content on their monitors and it was precise and not janky. This wasn’t a startup or anything … just random curious person trying stuff.
Wild times.
It’s very interesting to see designers in my X feed showing off their work, and then some random dude on a couch with Ai tools making something that blows theirs out of the water. Designer still has clients … but for how long 😂
I gave up on being a designer in a traditional sense. About a year ago I realized all of my skills will be obsolete. Even taste. Some won’t admit it but even taste is a pattern. Creativity is a pattern too.

No joke.
I just used images 2 from open ai to design my entire app. Never touched Figma. It just gave me excellent UI. “Design the {x} view” and it just gets it.
Sometimes I have to steer it to simplify a lot.
I didn’t realize vibing an SEO platform was going to be a huge undertaking. Glad AI doesn’t have feelings because I just gave it a year’s worth of human work to be done by tomorrow morning 🤣 😂 😳
People don’t want to admit that Bitcoin was not perfect from conception. They’d rather bend over backwards justifying its shortcomings (lack of privacy) than recognize them and accept trade off solutions.
