My kid started a lan minecraft server and I secretly joined it. I found him in the game and together we built a house. I could hear him in the other room being surprised. At first he thought I was an npc zombie 🧟♂️ 😉 and then was shocked to find out I can build things and wave at him. The whole time he had no idea who it was. Then when his battery ran out he told me he made a friend in game 🥹
In the book I’m reading now, the newly formed CIA lacked funding (no federal funding), so they decided to import drugs into US via Cuba - coordinated by the mafia. The drugs were sold in Harlem night clubs and started a heroin epidemic. The proceeds of those sales would go to the CIA, which used the Vatican bank to funnel funds back to the mafia in Italy to use violence against a rising communism movement. They employed violence (of course) and other strategies to shut down the communist movement.
Interesting stuff.
