Seen on @Stacker News:
> Bitcoiners are already seen as monetary flat earthers.

Trying to grow a garden at a significant slope wasn't the best of ideas.
Bitcoin dropping right when I got 10k back in prepaid taxes. 🥹
I quite like this cropped picture of myself.

Not a Christian myself but I have lots of respect for people who take their faith seriously. Just look at this entire thread and you’ll see why I love nostr so much. Different opinions and intepretations of Scripture don’t need to lead to conflict:

Bumped into a watch nerd at a cafe in a nearby town I cycled through recently and we sat down and talked watches over coffee.
He caused me quite the scare: We spoke about power reserves on automatic watches and I mentioned that my Black Bay 58 lasts around ~40-45h most of the time after I stop wearing it. I never cared all that much because I usually swap watches every 2nd or 3rd day and my other watches all run ETA 2824 so I have to rewind them most of the time anyways.
I bought it 2nd hand so he was worried about the BB58 being a replica. According to my research there were barely any quality replicas of that watch built until 2020 and since I got mine in 2019 with box and papers, the serial number engraving looking legit as well, I wasn’t too worried. But still, the caseback was never opened so I wouldn’t know for sure until I brought it in for service, which is overdue anyways.
Well, turns out I never learned to properly wind up this caliber and stopped at ~30 turns when it needs around 40. Today it ran for about 55h until the power reserve gave out, which would’ve been impossible for any clone movement. Still not the 70h it’s technically capable to deliver but the watch has been worn heavily for 6 years. I don’t pamper my watches and don’t have a cheap Casio/Seiko beater for rougher occasions.

Ordered some olive oil using Bitcoin from someone on nostr and it’s already been shipped. Will keep you posted once it arrived!

Accidentally set “Mrs” as the salutation in a business form and I’m sure the team is already sweating because it conflicts with my actual name.
