I like freedom. I like the orange coin. I'm a purveyor of sovereignty with nostr:nprofile1qqs9v5v8trgum5msr6cd82j3r77mhj94sk0adcp2232sdy65srusmdqpzdmhxue69uhhqatjwpkx2urpvuhx2ue0l39fwr
I've been using Nostr for a while. And I think #olas could be a good app to recommend some of my friends, so they can get a taste. But how can they install it easily? I'm not sure what to tell them... A quick search doesn't provide any relevant results. And I don't want them to have to download other apps, like Zapstore. #asknostr
First time listener. And I didn't expect @QW to have such a baritone voice! Right looks like an interesting solution to mine Bitcoin. I'm wondering if I should try, or buy a bitaxe. The only thing missing on the site is a kind of profit calculator. I understand these are auctions, so a bit hard to implement. But I'd like to be able to quickly estimate my potential earnings if I put 1,000 sats. View quoted note →
I just realized there are more notes I can't read these days, because they aren't translated anymore. Is the translation feature gone on #amethyst #asknostr
The mental gymnastics in #crypto land... image These early buyers weren't in it for the project, or even the tech. They didn't believe in anything. And they're gone to the newest pump and dump scheme. And current holders were their exit liquidity. They're left holding the bags, as usual. But sure, "that should greatly help its stability" 🤣
My #olas "For You" feed doesn't refresh since my update last night. My "Follows" feed doesn't load at all. 🤷‍♂️
I'm done reading Broken Money by @Lyn Alden It was easy to read and mostly easy to understand. Being in Bitcoin for almost 8 years, I've heard of most stories about money history. But I discovered some more in her book. I read Broken Money because I wanted to find a book to give to my noicoiner friends, who are allergic to Bitcoin, just so they can understand my point of view - why I'm saving in BTC. I can't give them The Bitcoin Standard, they'd never even open the damn book... Lyn made a great job at reducing the level of orange-pilling, even though it transpires here and there that there's no second best :) I can now go to the next step, and recommend my friends to read the book. I spent a lot of time on chapter 15 - reading it twice - because I had no idea how any of it worked, between base and broad money, Treasury, Fed, and Banks. It's still a bit nebulous, but I'm sure I'll get more stuff when listening to podcasts, thanks to Mary and Sara...
