First time I do an update on my @Start9 for the new @mempool version. Very smooth! Not sure it's the hardware, or the OS, but I'm very happy with my new node.

Yesterday, I watched God Bless Bitcoin in the living room. My 8-year old managed to watch about 5 minutes and gave up. My wife was in the same room, but busy, and didn't pay attention for about half the movie. Then she said: are you trying to brain wash me? She ended up on the couch, and started commented on every interviewee like: So, it wasn't a real success... While I enjoyed the spiritual comments, I don't think Bitcoin should be a religion. There are always gate keepers in a religion. And interpretations can lead to horrible takes, even pure evil. At some points, it really felt Bitcoin was a cult. It's not. It's just open money for the world. Next step, I'd like my parents to watch it. But I'm not sure this will resonate with them, for reasons mentioned above. I listen to a lot of podcasts during my daily walks, always trying to keep an open mind. Usually, I hop from one to the next, getting a ton of value and new ideas. But I've been ruminating over The Bitcoin Standard Podcast episode 230 with Arnaud Bertrand for over a month now. This episode really rubbed me the wrong way. It even made me watch @AnselLindner 's reaction, just to make sure I wasn't losing my mind! It's clear that Arnaud is a communist - and I'm still baffled why that ideology gets a free pass in France (unlike fascism, which is rightly condemned). He's all about central planning, essentially saying "govern me harder, daddy." He's got his rose-tinted glasses firmly on. He raised so many red flags (pun intended) over 2 hours, without much pushback from Saifedean. It was tough to listen to. Arnaud's bias was so strong that I almost didn't get any value from his talk. The one decent point he made was about why people are fed up with Western politicians. He said there's a disconnect between what governments do and what people want them to do. And that's spot on. But Saifedean's performance didn't help. He was gunning for the USA over their stance on Israel and Palestine. I get why he's passionate about it, but trying to paint China as a better alternative to the US was a bad move. Let's be real - both governments are evil. Period. Hey @Fountain good job integrating Nostr! Love the app since I started using it. But there's an issue on the Android app: the back button in the navigation makes me leave the app, and not go back to the previous page. That's really annoying. If you can please patch this soon 🙏

This reads weird. The #lightning transaction limit is denominated in fiat... The news in itself is positive. But it shows how far from understanding #bitcoin some companies are. Their communication should be adapted to the technology they're working on, not to some government token. It doesn't make sense.
