Day 63 📖 #ALLINBITCOINBookClub Reading The Bitcoin Standard — 2.5 pages/day until Dec 21 🎄 In fiat economies failure gets funded. When capital is allocated by central banks instead of customers, the worst firms thrive. Bureaucrats lend by checklist, not insight. Junk food beats home-cooked meals. And office politics becomes a full-time job. Sound money builds. (Today: pages 163–165.5)

GM, Day 58 📖 #ALLINBITCOINBookClub Reading The Bitcoin Standard — 2.5 pages/day until Dec 21 🎄 Sound money restrains government. Fiat empowers tyrants. Every modern dictator, from Lenin to Hitler to Mao, used unsound money to fund mass murder. (Today: pages 150.5–152)

GM, Day 57 📖 #ALLINBITCOINBookClub Reading The Bitcoin Standard — 2.5 pages/day until Dec 21 🎄 19th century wars were limited by taxation and gold. 20th century wars, fueled by fiat, became total wars. Deadlier, longer, and perpetual. (Today: pages 148–150.5)

The @LuganoPlanB conference just wrapped, and I’m feeling that good kind of bittersweet. I had the privilege of interviewing amazing guests and learning a ton, personally & intellectually. But I barely caught any panels or talks. Next year, I’m finding the perfect balance. Sharing a few shots of autumn in beautiful Lugano. Huge thanks to @LuganoPlanB. Next year, I’m doing it all!

Day 56 📖 #ALLINBITCOINBookClub Reading The Bitcoin Standard — 2.5 pages/day until Dec 21 🎄 Unsound money = perpetual war. Printing presses let governments fund endless conflict. Sound money restrained war to what taxes could support. (Today: pages 145.5–147)

GM, Day 55 📖 #ALLINBITCOINBookClub Reading The Bitcoin Standard — 2.5 pages/day until Dec 21 🎄 Appreciating money lowers time preference: people save, invest, and think long-term. Fiat’s depreciation does the opposite: chasing returns, risky projects, and malinvestment. (Today: pages 143.5–145)

GM from Lugano... Day 54 📖 #ALLINBITCOINBookClub Reading The Bitcoin Standard — 2.5 pages/day until Dec 21 🎄 Central banks fear deflation, so they keep printing. But money that loses value kills saving, distorts production, and feeds consumerism. Sound money is the antidote. (Today: pages 139.5–142)
