DD for a Double Dose of Decentralization
Yesterday, I learned that the Amethyst app is pretty solid. I had tried it a couple of times before when Primal notifications were bugging out, but never gave it an honest try. The amount of cool features and customization in Amethyst is really impressive. It's also very fast. If you're a "power user" or just want to try something new, I highly recommend Nice work @Vitor Pamplona
Don't get overconfident in your intelligence. That would be retarded.
If you have DNS filters turned on in your VPN settings etc. please note that Primal's DNS has recently been classified as "adult content" - if you want to get media etc. from Primal's servers, you need to turn of DNS filtering of "adult content" and then everything will work properly. Note: don't be a schizo and assume you're getting banned or throttled - this would make you look like a retard and wouldn't be fair to the noble builders of freedom tech that have to constantly contend with big tech censorship shenanigans. I owe the Primal team and the Nostr community an apology: I've been shilling pubky.app hard recently and yesterday all my connections to the Primal app/services were cut off. I, wrongfully, assumed that I was banned by Primal and I posted a couple of notes crying about it. Turns out that Primal's IPs/DNS was recently categorized as "adult content" on DNS records. My DNS settings then blocked all Primal DNS, which blocked all access. I sincerely apologize and feel terrible. I behaved in a way that I despise when others do it. I hope you will accept my apology. The Primal crew are legitimate legends (which is part of the reason I was so disappointed) and the Primal "influencers" are total chads and very inspirational. I'm very sorry and deserve my embarrassment. Keep crushing and ignore the retards (including me in this case)! View quoted note →
Vercel provides a great UI/UX, but it's a trap. If you're deploying anything that has potential to scale, make sure you have a Plan B (and a real DevOps guy). This could have been hosted for ~$300 vs. $46,000 if you knew how to do "real" DevOps. View quoted note →
