Haven’t checked up on my relays in months….Is filter.nostr.wine still operable? If so, do I need to pay for that and nostr.wine relay separately?

Idk much about drivechains but I do know that allowing shitcoin alternatives on bitcoin is the dumbest idea I have ever heard. The affinity scam that is shitcoins will be easier to sell to unwitting degenerates - “This is just like shitcoin X but it’s built on the bitcoin blockchain!” Anytime theres a rug or one fails, it will tarnish bitcoin’s reputation. We don’t need other coins. Bitcoin doesn’t need change. Bitcoin is hard money and that’s more than enough.

Biden Admin is about to push new boosters Here’s my prediction on the playbook: 1. Biden’s biggest weak point among all voters right now is the economy (specifically, inflation) 2. They know that if the fed hikes rates to get back to the 2% target, the banking system could easily break, making his chances even worse 3. To tame inflation, they need to manufacture a way to slow down the economy but avoid breaking the banking system in the process. How was the economy slowed down before? Lockdowns. But full lockdowns broke things, and if they did that again, voters in both sides would be pissed. So how do they do it? First, they create a public health scare. It’s pretty widely accepted that Covid rates will be higher once it starts getting cold out, for years to come just like the flu. This alone will keep some people, that haven’t wrapped their head around what happened in 2020, inside their homes and away from businesses. But that won’t be enough. To get more people to stay inside and not support businesses, they’ll need to find justification for a quasi lockdown. First they’ll push vaccines on people. Many people won’t take them. This time, you’ll have people who never got the first ones refuse, and you’ll also have people who woke up refuse. Regardless of how many people get vaccinated, cases will naturally continue to rise as the months get colder. They now have justification for lockdown style restrictions - “Covid is back, cases are rising, get vaccinated!” —> “Not enough of you conspiracy theorists got vaccines, so we need to do more to slow the spread” From there, they won’t go into a full lockdown - that would piss off way to many voters on both sides of the aisle, and bringing the economy to a complete halt isn’t the goal - instead, we’ll see a lot of the same policies we saw in 2020/21 but businesses won’t be closed. We’ll see six foot rules, capacity restrictions, possibly mask mandates, and anything else that left-of-center voters won’t get offended by but enough to slow the economy and keep enough people from going out and spending money. If successful (it won’t be), they would be able to keep their voter base and a good amount of left-of-center voters, tame inflation, and avoid breaking anything by the fed raising rates again.

They’re saying the national gas average is $3.85 and I wanna know where tf the gas stations are that are only charging $3.85. I haven’t seen gas at that price in probably over a year and I’ve travelled to multiple states.
