Try this exercise… List the 10 most important people in your life… family, friends, neighbors… make the list & do it quickly with whoever comes off the top of your head. Ex - John Susan Ludmi etc Then take each person on your list and subtract their age from 81 if they are a woman, and 76 if they are a man. Ex John 76-72=4 Susan 81-71=10 Ludmi 81-31=50 Then count how many times you physically see them in an average year and multiply that with the above number . Ex - John 4x3=12 Susan 10x5=50 Ludmi 50x20=1,000 Now I know that unless I change things, odds are that I am only going to see John 12 times before he dies… and Susan only 50 times before she dies, Ludmi 1,000 times, etc Do this for each of the 10 most important people in your world, and ask yourself the below questions for each of them: Am I OK with the total next to each of these names? How is the quality of my visits with each of them? Do I need to change something to make the most out of our remaining time? Is there anyone I need to prioritize more? Is there anyone I need to prioritize less? Who on my list gets along great together, who I could see at the same time? This exercise should put into stark mathematics the scarcity of the times you have left with your tribe… hopefully it will help you to cherish and value the times you have with them… for some it might only be double digits, and you might want to make an effort to make the remaining visits more special… to squeeze as much joy and connection as you can out of it before it’s gone forever… The beauty of love is balanced by the pain of loss, and everyone we love, we will lose one day, or, we will be lost to them… love is all that matters, and these times with your tribe are the most precious thing you get in this life… Make every one count 🙏🏼

@Damus was my daily driver until i stopped getting notificaciones, and it basically became a black hole where I wouldn’t know who was commenting, liking, zapping, etc After trying to figure out what was going on and failing to find a solution, I switched to @primal and I have to say it’s pretty damn good… I still want to support Damus but it doesn’t seem like there is any solution to the notification issue, so I guess I’m going to switch over permanently due to lack of options… How amazing that I can just switch clients when one isn’t working for me, and my account is right there, no serious issues or pain, just dl a new app and I’m back up and running…
